On September 12th, we hosted the Wathen Castanos Homes Transition and Gratitude Celebration at the site of the proposed Avila Ranch Housing Community in San Luis Obispo! Wathen Castanos Homes is committed to the San Luis Obispo community and the betterment of the lives of the people that live here. We are thrilled to welcome them as the new owners of the Avila Ranch community, which is set to break ground at the beginning of 2020!

The proposed community will include homes that are “sustainable for the land, the community and a family budget.” Avila Ranch will feature traditional single-family detached homes, small lot detached “cottages,” townhomes, duplexes and apartments among parks and open green spaces along a series of biking and pedestrian paths.

The property is located near the San Luis Obispo Airport, along Buckley Road.
