As part of their overall revenue enhancement plan, the Orcutt Union School District (OUSD) enlisted Oasis Associates, Inc. to facilitate and determine the best possible use for the District owned 13.26 acres of surplus property located near the intersection of Dyer Street and Soares Avenue.  The School District’s “project” includes a General Plan Amendment to allow for increased residential development and an ultimately the development of a senior housing facility. All funds generated from the lease of the property would go directly back to the District as a secondary revenue source.  Please refer to the “White Papers” section for a case study specific to this project.
